ISACA and CyberSafe Foundation Partner to Address Underrepresentation of Women in Tech

Collaboration provides unique opportunity for organizations to equip young women with globally sought after IT skills and certifications to help bridge the gender disparity within the profession.

Schaumburg, IL, USA—Global technology association ISACA and CyberSafe Foundation today announced a partnership to support the CyberGirls Fellowship and their career development offerings.

As part of this partnership, ISACA’s Academic & Workforce Program along with the ISACA One In Tech Foundation and the Chicago and Abuja ISACA Chapters will offer the IT Risk Fundamentals course and certificate exam and a one-year ISACA student membership to 85 CyberGirls fellows. As part of the ISACA student membership, CyberGirls fellows will also be able to access mentorship opportunities with the ISACA Abuja Chapter and ISACA Global.

Additionally, as part of this collaboration, the course will be instructed by ISACA Chicago Chapter member and ISACA Global Achievement Award winner for Inspirational Leadership, Ramona Ratiu. Ramona has been actively involved in supporting initiatives within the IT/IS space, specifically ISACA’s SheLeadsTech program and academic outreach, in order to help promote diversity and growth of industry professionals.
